Our internship is designed to give two highly qualified premed students per year, an opportunity to further their premedical career. The internship occurs online, and students from around the country may participate. Special focus is on:

  • Leadership
  • Learning about medicine (General medical topics, and a special focus on Diabetes)
  • Developing and reviewing online learning materials
  • Grant writing

When does the internship start, when will it end, and how many hours a week will the internship require from me?
The internship will begin September 1st, 2008 and ends June 30th, 2009. The internship will require 5-10 hours of participation per week.

Who can apply?
  • High School Seniors
  • College Freshmen

How do you apply?
  1. Complete the internship registration form (click here)
  2. Submit official high school transcripts* (minimum 3.0 GPA required to apply)
  3. Submit** personal statement & Curriculum Vitae (C.V.)
Application deadline is August 15th, 2008. We will review your application once all materials have been submitted.
* Mail transcripts to: PO Box 564321, College Point, NY 11356
** Personal statement must be no longer than 1 page long. (Double spaced, 10 point Arial Font) E-mail personal statement and C.V. to contact@studentsofmedicine.com
